31 Aug 2009â¨Reviewer : MO - foodie â¨â¨Fil'O'Fromage was an excellent dining experience. The staff were very helpful in assisting with the choice of cheeses, wine and how to get the best out of each. Don't be put off by the exterior and location away from the centre of town. Well worth a repeat visit.â¨â¨â¨overall: 9.0 â¨â¨food: 10 â¨â¨value: 9 â¨â¨service: (na) â¨â¨toilets: (na) â¨â¨ambience: 8 â¨â¨recommend: 9 â¨â¨â¨â¨

12 Aug 2009â¨Reviewer: (Anonymous) â¨â¨Fil'O'Fromage was a friendly (and thankfully bilingual) venue, obviously a favourite with the locals. It was quite a casual laid back place and was a short visit out of the main touristy areas but easily accessible by public transport. The regional cheese dishes were great, with accompanying wine. Only one of us could manage a dessert which was lovely and we passed on coffee but were still charged the â¬30 set menu cost. I would recommend this venue.â¨â¨â¨overall: 8.0 â¨â¨food: 9 â¨â¨value: 7 â¨â¨service: 9 â¨â¨toilets: (na) â¨â¨ambience: 7 â¨â¨recommend: 8 â¨â¨â¨â¨â¨
8 Aug 2009â¨Reviewer: (Anonymous) â¨â¨had a mix of cheeses - just wonderful and a wonderful host. Don't be put off by the building we had a truly wonderful evening.â¨â¨â¨overall: 8.5 â¨â¨food: 10 â¨â¨value: 9 â¨â¨service: 10 â¨â¨toilets: 5 â¨â¨ambience: 7 â¨â¨recommend: 10 â¨â¨â¨â¨â¨
9 Apr 2009â¨Reviewer : AG - foodie â¨â¨The service was brilliant and staff were very attentive to our needs. The owner was very pasionate about the way in which the cheese and wine should be tasted. He explained the art of cheese tasting and the differences between the cheeses to us as we were novices. Good value for money and cheese and wine was delicious. It was a shame that the restaurant was a little difficult to find and not located in the best surroundings. But I would go again.â¨â¨â¨overall: 7.5 â¨â¨food: 9 â¨â¨value: 9 â¨â¨service: 9 â¨â¨toilets: 2 â¨â¨ambience: 7 â¨â¨recommend: 9 â¨â¨â¨â¨

9 Apr 2009â¨Reviewer: (Anonymous) â¨â¨Fil'O'Fromage is an excellent restaurant. It serves a very high quality of cheese and wine from different regions of France. It was an amazing experience to dine in this resturant. â¨â¨â¨overall: 8.3 â¨â¨food: 9 â¨â¨value: 9 â¨â¨service: 9 â¨â¨toilets: 7 â¨â¨ambience: 8 â¨â¨recommend: 8 â¨â¨â¨â¨â¨
9 Apr 2009â¨Reviewer : SJ - foodie â¨â¨If you like cheese and you are in Paris, I would recommend Fil'O'Fromage. It is an easy metro ride or we walked down the river from the Jarden de Plantes which was lovely. Batofar the infamous nightspot is also nearby. The top table deal is good value for 2 courses and wine but I found the main too much and could not eat desert. They did offer to have it ''to takeaway". Next time i would just order off the menu. Good explanation of the cheses (in english). â¨â¨â¨overall: 6.5 â¨â¨food: 8 â¨â¨value: 7 â¨â¨service: 6 â¨â¨toilets: 5 â¨â¨ambience: 5 â¨â¨recommend: 8 â¨â¨â¨â¨

2 Mar 2009â¨Reviewer: (Anonymous) â¨â¨Fil o' Fromage was a surprise gem! Well worth the short metro journey to that side of town. The friendly host was extremely helpful and took us through the cheese tasting process. The food was incredible and excellent value for money. We'd booked the toptable special offer but were so full after our cheese & cold cuts platter that we couldn't possibly fit in coffee & dessert. Worked out much cheaper that way too. Brilliant. GO. â¨â¨â¨overall: 8.8 â¨â¨food: 10 â¨â¨value: 9 â¨â¨service: 10 â¨â¨toilets: 7 â¨â¨ambience: 7 â¨â¨recommend: 10 â¨â¨â¨â¨â¨
23 Feb 2009â¨Reviewer : Natalie Fredriksen - foodie â¨â¨Fil'O'Fromage is a must for any self respecting cheese / wine lover in Paris! We had a fantastic meal and what made it extra special was the fantastic service and the time taken by the staff to explain exactly what we were eating and where we were coming from! I would highly recommend!â¨â¨â¨overall: 9.2 â¨â¨food: 9 â¨â¨value: 9 â¨â¨service: 10 â¨â¨toilets: (na) â¨â¨ambience: 9 â¨â¨recommend: 9 â¨â¨â¨â¨

22 Feb 2009â¨Reviewer: (Anonymous) â¨â¨We had an early dinner so were the only diners in the restaurant, however that afforded us an attentive service which led to a very pleasant cheese and wine tasting experience. If you like cheese, you'll love this place!â¨â¨â¨overall: 8.0 â¨â¨food: 8 â¨â¨value: 9 â¨â¨service: 9 â¨â¨toilets: 7 â¨â¨ambience: 7 â¨â¨recommend: 8 â¨â¨â¨â¨â¨
2 Feb 2009â¨Reviewer: (Anonymous) â¨â¨The host was fantastic, he spoke great English and gave us a fantastic crash course in how to get the best from the cheese and wine. The deal is well worth the money and will definately fulfill your cravings. The guy was even grateful when we gave him some tips on where to find some excellent English cheeses to add to his English cheese platter which features on the menu. A really fantastic lunch out in Paris and wholeheartedly recommended.â¨â¨â¨overall: 9.6 â¨â¨food: 9 â¨â¨value: 10 â¨â¨service: 10 â¨â¨toilets: (na) â¨â¨ambience: 10 â¨â¨recommend: 9 â¨â¨â¨â¨â¨
